According to the latest version of the spec[1], mask-repeat should have a default value of no-repeat. [1] - http://dev.w3.org/fxtf/masking/#changes

-webkit-mask-repeat was unprefixed in Bug 229082. Relevant WPT test cases were pulled in at the time, and I believe all pass. If you believe there is still an issue, please REOPEN with a relevant test case. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 229082 ***
