This is expected. Autoplay does not kick in by default if microphone or camera are not in use. Instead, the page should start playing media based on a user click. Note that the user click may happen largely before audio is being received, playing media element at this time will remove the autoplay restriction anyway even if there is no audio to be played. Same issue for Chrome on Ios 17.1.2. User click BEFORE WebRtc connection does not work, user click after WebRTC connection is ok |
