Unfortunately I have still not found any reproducer for this issue, so I cannot bisect it. I think what's happening is the web view background color somehow wins out over the page contents. The page content is fully loaded: you can mouse over links and see the mouse cursor change, for example, and you can click on the links, so it's just a rendering issue. If you load a new page in the web view and then click Back, the content renders fine. I think this bug is fixed. I bet Carlos Garcia fixed it via one of the various recent fixes. |
Created attachment 466682 [details] Screenshot of bug Often (20-30% of the time) when loading slack.com the page does not render at all. There are no error messages in the web inspector and I have no clue what is wrong. My workaround when this happens is to close and restart Epiphany. Screenshot attached to show what this looks like. I think this broke sometime around 2.41.1, with 2.40 OK, but I'm not sure.
