Sometimes PWAs added to home screen will receive the smart app banner of the site they're linking to

End user reports:

- https://lemmy.world/post/2127188
- https://github.com/aeharding/voyager/issues/330

Repro:

- Create a PWA, install to homescreen
- Have the PWA link to github.com with a link (<a href="https://github.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Link</a>)
- Click the link, then close the popup to github
- Observe smart app banner sometimes is appearing on the PWA
