run-benchmarks may occasionally fail to download Speedometer3 from the Github archive when urllib's CAcert is incorrect or missing. Some proposed fixes are to use certifi's CAcert (certifi.where()), or to use requests, which we already have a dependency on and uses certifi under the hood.
