Created attachment 471072 [details] Code reproduction VoiceOver announces any numeric valuetext as a percentage on the slider role. This is not always wanted as the number may not be easily representable as a percentage. For example, it would not be valuable to announce a slider with different years as a percentage, because each year value should be represented as the year itself. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open code reproduction on an iOS device. 2. Turn VoiceOver on. 3. Tap the "Slider" text to focus the slider role element. Observe that VoiceOver reads "2024" and then reads the number as a percentage. Expected Behavior: I expect VoiceOver to only read the value as "2024" and not as a percentage. Actual Behavior: VoiceOver reads the value as "2024" and as a percentage. Other Information: - I tested this on an iOS 17.5 device. - This does not reproduce on Chrome for Android.
