I assume it just doesn't know what to do with MISSING results. e.g. after http://trac.webkit.org/changeset/99752, chromium-win is getting missing results because the expected results are only in chromium-linux. When I click the examine button, it shows me all the test, but when I open the dropdowns, it only shows me the list of failing platforms, it doesn't actually show any results. It should instead show the new result. It obviously can't show the old result or the diff since there's no result to compare to.
