I am encountering the same issue as detailed here: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=231995.
This is happening on ios 16 both on safari and chrome, the same image/video to camera roll option seems to make the webshare api not to work for any subsequent clicks.

The fix for bug 231995 hasn't shipped in any iOS version yet.
