We released 2.40.0 earlier today, so I wouldn't expect any more 2.38 releases.

I have a good amount of backports done in that branch and would be a pity to not make it. We know that some distributors will take longer than we would like to bump to 2.40.x, but will more readily do an update to a point release of the release series they are already shipping ;-)
