Hello!

I faced with issue in vuetify lib in safari browser. I opened issue in their repository ( https://github.com/vuetifyjs/vuetify/issues/17300 ) but they closed it and said to open issue here that is safari rendering problem

I can reproduce in Safari Tech Preview 169, but not a more recent trunk build.

Oddly, this appears to have been fixed only on safari-7615-branch.

I believe this progressed with https://github.com/WebKit/WebKit/commit/63a655702b0109ffa21df1c21f7307af5bc8e598 but am not seeing this on ToT.

This does use `background-color: currentColor` so it is indeed possible that https://github.com/WebKit/WebKit/commit/63a655702b0109ffa21df1c21f7307af5bc8e598 progressed this.
