Since one of our 2.41 releases, we now occasionally have extreme flickering on cnn.com, e.g. on https://www.cnn.com/europe/live-news/russia-ukraine-war-news-05-05-23/index.html. It's probably related to use of dmabuf, but it only occurs occasionally and I have not found a reproducer.

I took a screencast but surprisingly ***the bug was not visible in the screencast*** so no point in attaching it here. The mutter screen recorder sees everything as if it were fine.

That's not possible, because this bug happens too rarely to know whether it has been fixed. In fact, thinking about it now, I'm not sure the last time I saw this. It's possible that it's already fixed somehow.

I'm going to just close this and will reopen if I see it again.
