Steps:
1. Log in into github
2. Go to some project, for example https://github.com/Igalia/wolvic/

Actual outcome:
The drop-down menu that is normally opened from the "+" combo box on the top is permanently displayed

Expected outcome:
The drop-down should only be visible after clicking on the combo box

Observed with:
* epiphany with WebKitGtk 2.40.1
* MiniBrowser with WebKitGtk 2.40.1
